I put him as a Lallana type player. As long as he doesn't have the same personality it would be a very good signing.

Young, skillfull, attack minded and potentially great re-sale value, although he's not even signed yet !

He'd easily fulfil the system we were playing at the end of the season too, Whilst easily slotting in to a 4 3 3, 4 2 3 1 also. It'll be the signing of the season if we pull it off.

This would be an excellent signing. Young, bags of potential and is exactly what we need.

Mixed views on Norwich twitter...they all accept he is going, but some think this is just a bargaining tool to raise the price. A few think we'd be a good move for him as he would get game time. I agree with the last...Saints are still a good bet for a developing player. Obviously money does come into it, but quite a few players have rued believing that it is the most important thing. If you are good enough, you will get the big pay day eventually....and we don't pay in washers ourselves.

If we do sign Maddison that may well mean the end at Saints for Davis. Can't see any room for him in the starting eleven if we sign Maddison. Unless he's happy to be a squad player (which I doubt) I can see him leaving.

Back to Rangers would be a smart bet.

Jacob Steinberg of the guardian have reported that we have indeed bid for him too. Let the battle commence. I'm hoping Mark Hughes plays a serious part here.
