Was being sarcastic mate. But this name actually works pretty well. Even the later bit in the tune. You just know they are going to pronounce his name wrong to ruin that dream. CariLLOW not CarriYO like it should be
So we are after the 3rd choice striker of a French L1 team who's goal scoring proficiency relies on playing against lower L1 teams. He is also tall but it not actually a target man; sort of a poacher type.... is this about the gist of what l am reading?

I`d never heard of Pelle either, but we turned him into an international striker. Fingers crossed.

As l recall Pelle was a known player; he had a very good goal scoring record in the Dutch League. 50 goals in 57 appearences. Just saying...

YouTube suggests he's pretty bloody lethal in the air. Wasn't there a stat a week or so ago saying we put the most crosses into the box of any Premier League team or summat silly.
For the record, I’d never heard of him and those that had told me he was a useless lump.
Pelle was also from a League with the same quality as the lower end of the Championship. Many people were sceptical of him.
Indeed. Statistically this is only bettered by Austin I guess and we won’t be seeing much more of him this season.
Unless you consider that manager so incompetent that his presence (or lack of it) is detrimental in itself.
