I thought Del Piero had retired?
Also could that be the striker Nixon was talking about earlier that everyone thought was Heskey

Incredible player, if his legs hold up. Nixon called the player 'no good'; surely can't be the same one?
True enough, but he has never been an out-and-out striker. Could play in a variety of roles, and would be a great impact sub. Good influence on the youngsters too I'd imagine.I really can't see it. He's probably still good enough, but we don't need more strikers.
Could he not play "in the hole" if Cortese really wanted him?
I know he scored on his last league appearance for Juve, so must have something still to offer. Also played 23 times for them in a championship-winning season, no mean feat.Have you seen him play in the last season or two?
This signing would reek of QPR.
Clearly an FM signing, bring him in for a season to tutor the youngsters then convince him to become a coach at the end of the season
