I thought Del Piero had retired?

Also could that be the striker Nixon was talking about earlier that everyone thought was Heskey

I really can't see it. He's probably still good enough, but we don't need more strikers.

Clearly an FM signing, bring him in for a season to tutor the youngsters then convince him to become a coach at the end of the season

Bring him on for shootouts in cups and last minute free kicks - unless there's a game where we don't need players to be able to move.

Doesn't really fit into the mould of player we have been buying, i.e young and hungry. The PL is a lot faster than Serie A and having never played in it before it maybe a step too far at this stage of his career.

However, it is on a free and if the wages are low it couldn't do any harm I suppose.

I just don't imagine that what he brings to matches is what this transfer would be about. Experience for youngsters, pulling in a small increase in shirt sales and gates (if that's a problem, which I'd really hope it isn't) and getting headlines to "increase company image".

Fack me , I hope this is not true , qpr have signed some good players , as have Norwich as have.well everyone of our rivals , are we bidding for Charlie George and Frank Worthington as well ?
