Just watched Adkins interview on Player. He was generally serious but every now and again the manic grin escaped...but he quickly caught it and assumed a PL manager face.

He was at one point asked directly about Ramirez and he said he had nothing to say, but didn't look sad or anything. Would guess that it's not completely dead. Also said as reported that he needed at least one CB and possibly two.

Interesting on the comments of casting the net wide to Europe, and even non-Europeans. He seemed excited, whether that's a poker face or a hint I don't know.

When asked about Yoshida he just said it's a big world. This could mean something or nothing...remember that Adkins has a little bit of an imp about him.
