    It does sound weird. Firstly, if he is so keen to remain in Italy, then why was he so keen to join us? Also, as said, if £11.8 million wasn't enough, then why is £8.7 million? Then again, perhaps Bologna feel better dealing with a fellow Italian club? Would look a bit shady if the article panned out though.

    Could be the £8 mil inter are offering is all up front and Bologna want the money now, and we will only offer less up front. Probably is BS though

    Don't get me wrong Nige has been a quality manger but when it comes to the media he is a bit of a ball bag! I think he has some sort of commision deal going with PC world on new keyboards!!

    Nigel Adkins is hopeful that #SaintsFC will be "very active" in the transfer market before the window closes next week.

    Adkins refused to be drawn on Ramirez, Phillips or Olsson, but did say #SaintsFC "need to bring another centre-half if not two".
