So we're buying 130% of a player?
Well Penarol say they own 30%, as Bologna did say also. Now Bologna say they own 100%, and Penarol get 30% of the total fee as a sell-on clause.
(My take on it)

I blame Andrew Surman, we sold him for £1.2 million and as he was one of our best young players at the time, Bologna will think we are push overs. I've cracked it.

So like a normal contract with a sell on clause, Whats the frickin problem then?
Or Bale sold for 5mil.

And we get Forecast instead of a sell on clause![]()
If Napoli sell Cavani then there interest is plausible
If they want him they can get him now. Sold Lavezzi for 30m.
Because its on wikipedia it has to be true - eh... okay. How do you know what trouble Bologna has gone to - you have a source in their club? Or its it what you read on the web - the same sources that tell you the deal is off - only you choose not to belive the latter - or am I being subjective?
Thats been the case since early July though, so they could have got involved before then if they wanted to.
Bologna told us it was 30% ownership... as Penarol maintain.
This is daft. We have never been clear on it, but I very much doubt the club would have negotiated with them and agreed terms without being clear about this. That would be ridiculous.

I have hated all Italians since we played Udinese.
My limited understanding is that clubs can buy a stake in a player and when that player is sold on - you have to agree terms with both clubs. So even though we do a deal with one, we need to negotiate with the other also.
