#SaintsFC & Bologna have agreed a fee & payment plan for Ramirez. The hold up is because the Rossoblù are trying to sort out their finances.

White:

Bologna trying to secure loan and pay back as Saints pay them. NC not happy and set to give ultimatum, agree now or deal off!
 
Fee and payment plan has been agreed between clubs. Hold up is at their end as the Rossoblu try and sort out their finances apparently.

Peter white is a journo the other fella is just a fan.
 
I guess they need more than we are offering up-front to buy a replacement, then they'll use the rest of the instalments to pay off the loan. Surely even if they can't secure the loan today though they should just let the transfer go through. Whatever we are giving them is better than nothing after all.
 
So to put it in simple terms if i am right....

Bologna are skint - wanted more than the £5mil up front from us - NC screw you that's the offer - Bologna trying to get a loan instead on top of the £5mil from us as they are skint - No loan = Possibly no deal?

Its like a soap opera I love it!:laugh: NC burying Bologna chairmen under patio (Brookside refernence) or in Pub (Eastenders reference).

Pretty much, I think its 10m euros up front with 5m euros with the issue being NC wants to spread that over the course of the contract but Bologna want it in a year.

I'm coming around to your way of thinking today. Not sure why Cortese has placed an ultimatum unless he wants to either sign Ramirez or move straight on.

Yes the clock is ticking. NC will need time to firm up, any alternatives. Bologna President must know that too though. Who breaks first?

I'm tempted to say Bologna. They need a replacement (losing Ramirez is a big hit, he's their star player especially since Di Vaio left) and per Peter White, need money because they're on the brink anyway.

I also think Bologna have been hoping other clubs would come in and start a bidding war.
