Lets have this moment to think about the poor souls who discuss football matters on the OFFICIALSAINTS Facebook page, as we sympathise with their loved ones that have to put up with them on a daily basis.
 
At the rate this thread is going, it'll be longer the the Pompey Takeover Saga by deadline day!
 
Just got back from no news apart from City Result for 11 days and this seems very interesting although 86 pages on one player...Holy ****. Sounds good though!
 
Is there any way to get a worldwide super injunction on everyone to shut people up about this deal until either it happens or the window closes?
 
Peach suggests we should go for Johnson if we're willing to spend this much, i see his point actually...
 
Think we were trying to punch above our weight here. Great to try and get Ramirez but fact of matter, this probably wouldnt have happened had man utd, spurs or liverpool wanted him. I am guessing NC knew they were in a bit of financial dire straits and tried to get a steal on a deal to be paid over x number of years. If this was man utd or any of the above, they would prob have paid £8 mill on the nose with the rest in the first year.

Think we tried very hard to nail an amazing capture and for one reason or another it hasnt happened.

Still, as Adkins says, draw a line under it, move on etc...

Shame as really wanted this one but not our fault. We just seem jinxed in transfer deals at times.

I don't think we are. Perhaps a hard target, but Gaston is happy to come. We know the fee, they agreed out instalments and Bologna played silly buggers.

It's not over yet, not quite line drawing time yet.

Yes just feel this first marquee signing really important. and sets a marker and changes the whole view of SFC in everybodys eyes. Really wanted to shut Lawro up too !!
 
Some people need to take a pill or ring the samaritans. If this is some peoples reactions over a few comments on Sky, you all need ****ing help.
 
86 pages of talk over this. I say we delete this thread and pretend it never existed. Anyone caught in public talking of it would be breaking forum rules and be punished accordingly.
