That one was superb. Strangely not shown that much, seems the Newcastle goals, the goal against Flowers and the Wimbledon free-kick routine are among the favourites of the majority.

I loved watching his early stuff on YouTube.

Danger of straying off topic and getting shouted at. SO...back to Ramirez - wouldn't it be great if he was able to pass the ball and create like a certain other player we used to have.

    Oh.....sorry......

I came in here to read about Ramirez, not Le Tissier. Grow up, seriously.

And there it is. All of 3 posts and you're upset about a comparison between attacking midfielders. Wow, perhaps you should take the above and apply it to yourself. It's really, really not going to hurt you.

Ah it appears the sarcasm was missed - I'm one of the main people who normally gets in trouble for going off topic, I was only joking. I have no problem with threads going off topic, in fact I regularly encourage it :)

In all seriousness though, it was a point about how we used to employ an exceptional attacking midfielder and how that worked well for us in the top league. Admittedly the comparison continued about one post too long, but really, there are far worse crimes. I'd suggest getting the proverbial knickers in a twist about that would be one of them. Chill out.

I pretend to be angry, I get in trouble. I admit I wasn't really angry and think threads going off topic is great, and I get in trouble. I don't know what to do any more :(

Okay, point taken. I haven't been on here for a while, so the vagaries of specific posters humour may leave me a bit behind for a while. I'll catch up.

"The latestest from Italy is that the cup is in the nest and set to ride the donkey into the fishing pool. Gaston Ramirez (23) is said to have been given a favourable impressession from the chirpy scouse head coach as well as been seduced by the lure of the strong Stirling pound and a DVD showing possible the way of the expansion of the stadium. "I am greatly impressed and so is my mothers and her children's. This is now the stage where I will give birth this season" said an excited Gaston. My heart is always for Italy, the fans, the music, the dance, and the little dishes of smelly cheese that you receive as a free gift when wasting in the restaurants. I have to give special thanks for this and so do my future success. Now is my time to repay chirpy scouse man and DVD player. I am looking forward to my time with Southampton. They have one of the finest mong boards in Europe. The Remainder is set for Penarol."

I'm not sure what the internet etiquette is for a situation like that. Here's a video of some cats.

Well it made me laugh. I just thought that if I posted it was from SaintsWeb straight away it would be written off as a joke. The first little bit is believable, you know the bit before the donkey into the fishing pool.

    Can't post a link but

Bologna have ruled out winger Gaston Ramirez moving to Southampton for £11.8m, saying it will take £16m to prise him away.

I've not got a subscription to the times so I can't view the story but the preview for it is:

prepare their transfer plans. Decent bets Bologna have ruled out Gaston Ramírez moving to Southampton for £11.8 million after the winger...us,” Albano Guaraldi, the Bologna president, said. “Gaston cannot force my hand with two interviews. It will take...

Seems like the same old quotes dragged up again, anyone with a subscription want to check it out?
