Anything like the treatment of Downs and he’ll be all nice and judged within 70 minutes of arrival.

Actually thinking that Downs would benefit from someone in midfield spotting his movement and giving him balls to run on to.
Be good to get this sorted asap so he’s ready to start the legend journey against the enemy from down the road.

I think that a back four is the way to go, maybe ...

Charles or Flynn as the 6, Matty as the 8 and Eduard as the 8/10.

We should exploit our attacking tools and overrun the oppo rather than have the extra CB.

I like this alot, But Quarshie should be competing for a spot too as should Wood.

Love it! I’d way prefer us to go with more attacking intent too, but not sure if having Matty at 8 is the best position for him. If we get Eduard then it puts in a happy predicament type situation I think!!

what kinkladze and shevchenko and of course our favourite Marian Pahars.
 
Dribbles the ball very similar to Boufal. What’s promising though is that he looks willing to shoot from distance. We need that badly.

I have a feeling Krasnodar and Spertsyan are dragging their heels a bit though, waiting to see if a better offer comes in.
