Rodriguez plays an important defensive role though, I'm not sure Osvaldo will be keen to work as hard.
 
I know i don't post often and I'm not being 'ITK' but my friend works for the same company as Pocc's translator doing italian to english and has been told IF it happens he will be needed. He told me as we are both massive saints fans and was v excited about doing a press conf for us. I stress we don't know if he's signing or not!! I guess it could be because an Italian national team player wouldn't do a press conf in Spanish?

Could also be to interpret questions from Italian press members, who likely wouldn't be asking in Spanish? Would be amusing to see Italian questions interpreted into English via your friend, then into Spanish by another interpreter then the answers going all the way back again. I doubt the answers would end up having any relation to the original questions <laugh>

I can't see Poch signing anyone who doesn't work hard. When Osvaldo was at Espanyol he once commented that Pochettino "worked us like dogs", and that he'd become a better player as a result.

I don't think this is an interpreter, more of an assistant to the media team (i.e. the people who make all the club videos and match programmes and so on).
 
Well if that's not a good sign I don't know what is. Let's start estimating the time of the official announcement.
