Yep. And it becomes something of a self-fulfilling prophesy when in two years, you're telling the next crop of kids that we're the club of Bella-Kotchap, Livramento, Lavia, Gakpo, Mane and Van Dijk. Was just thinking this. Romano could make a mint on betting sites, and swing things either way for himself with comments like that, Musk style.
Romano is a good aggregator but I remain thoroughly unconvinced he has a huge network of contacts. It's totally unrealistic for a 20-something Italian journalist to emerge from nowhere and be well-connected with so many clubs across the world. There is a reason journalists work patches and it's because it takes time to cultivate relationships and source info.
