Suspect the SAA deal might have helped pave the way for this. Find it odd someone who looks very highly rated would be interested in joining us with an option where he would be joining a Championship team, maybe he can just turn us down in the summer if he wants

You can say that, but you lot actually pay money to a club that seems to have no idea on how to run the playing side. We obviously have an issue at centre back with injuries, that why we where in for him.
We will now make a regular last minute panic loan, and bring some old cart horse in. Let's hope we can get this DOF in, and Dragan sacks all the idiots responsible for this transfer mess.

The club is a complete mess top to bottom. Unsurprisingly most of not606 have gone full ostrich mode and completely refuse to see it. Dragan is responsible for this mess

I imagine it was the option that made this deal die. Can’t really blame him for not wanting to join us permanently, and no real point from our perspective in just a straight loan (unless THB and Stephens are out for ages, which with us not going for anyone else would appear isn’t the case)
