We've got some players really hitting form recently, plus a few rookies, interesting mix.

Well that was a tad embarrassing. Westwood is off form but will play every game because of his pal. Would have had Casey in all day over him.

Playing experience in the afternoon session the BBC says? Play the rookies after the mornings result. They'll play no worse.

I don't pretend to know much about Golf , but is this as bleak as it looks ? or can we recover ? I mean do we have real time to do it ?

If Europe win the four afternoon matches, it will be all square, so it is recoverable.
First to 14 1/2 points wins, (or 14 points in Europe's case as they already hold the trophy and would retain it in the event of a draw) so allowing too big a lead, too early in the contest can create problems.
However, in 2012, on the last day, the USA only needed to win 41/2 points to reach the magic number, but could only win 4, from a possible 12, so almost anything is possible.

Drawing 2 all would be ok here. I would like us to claw one back. But can't see it.

Good afternoon for Europe. Fabulous finish from Rory and I loved his celebrations. The Americans were singing something about Rory being **** as he was preparing for that last putt. He shoved it up 'em :)

Been talking to a guy who is a a official photographer for the PGA tour. He said the American crowd is disgusting

They have been for years during the Ryder cup when it is held in the USA. Obviously it is the minority, but they are the ones that draw attention.

Yeah the guy is American as well so not like he is biased. He said some of the stuff said to Mcilroy isn't on. But the stewards aren't having a word.

British crowds in golf know when to be quiet and also how to be supportive for their own players without being aggressive towards the opposition. American golf crowds seem to be nearer to football crowds, but noise isn't disruptive in football whereas it certainly is in golf (and also tennis).

Funny isn't it how sports are different. British crowd in golf/tennis is nowhere near as loud as the Americans but they look at something like football and say the crowd is mental. They also hate British boxing crowds (especially booing national anthems), but we think nothing of it.
