Morning gents.

It seems that Ryan Taylor will sign for Hull City in the next couple of days, I notice he put a bit of a run of games together at the end of last season, do you think he's finally over his injury problems, or are we potentially taking a big risk?

Do you still rate him, if he does manage to stay fit?

Ta.

Sorry but I have never rated him - very slow. ONly thing he used to be good at was deliveries and since coming back from his serious injuries they have been disappointing.

However, if he has now had plenty of rest, training and fitness then maybe that will come back.

he's worth a punt just for his dead ball skills.
The pace is slower in the Championship so I reckon he could really do a job for your guys.
He's quite versatile too and an play right up the flanks if needs be.

Good player and did well for us when fit.

Couldn't suggest his injuries are behind him though. Great lad. I think his knees will always be suspect. Hope it goes well for him.

We missed his commitment. Simpson was the same. Raylor had a bit more talent than Simpson though. The thing is both would put themselves on the line and would chuck themselves in front of a bus if it stopped a goal. One of the more basic skills in the art of defending, block the ball and stop it going in the net <laugh> Strange how many choose not to.

He is more than good enough for the championship, it would be nice to think the injuries won't bring it to an end. I think one more serious one and he'll have to start thinking about giving it up.

He's utter ****, best days are behind him and not able to play to an acceptable standard in the Premier league any longer.

Should do well at Hull though <ok>

Depends on what you are signing him for. I loved having him at the club as he was committed from day one, he had a strong role in getting us promoted and then when we finished 5th he started the season fanatastically. People talk about his dead ball skills but his shooting from range generally was very good when he got in the correct positions.

At his best he was a mid-table player who could turn a game with an act of brilliance. Now he's lost more pace so I don't think he's a winger or attacking wing back any more but as a defender who puts in good balls. A leader though, I think we miss players with his mentality. The player you want is Gutierrez, if fully fit he could still tear up that league I reckon.

I think your over rating him, He's only a rating or 2 (fifa wise) better then Williamson IMO
