Wonder how many roubles she’s been bunged by the Russians to:

Its now so hard to tell who is responsible for this. You could say Russia have cutely spub this the other way. Or you could blame the incompetence of our government officials who seem to have done a masterful job of undermining their own case. Its so messy now we will probably never know the truth. I would not trust our government anymore than I trust Putin and co.
I think some of our lot have scored a few own goals. We should keep a muzzle on our Foreign Secretary, he can't help but hand the impetus to the other side.
If you seriously believe that (and given it's Pouchy we're talking about, that's a huge if) then it's mission accomplished for the Putin propaganda machine.
Sure, Johnson's a knob (pun intended), but at least he's our knob. If you're seriously comparing an elected government, albeit one full of posh twats, to a dictatorship that invades its neighbours and assassinates defectors on foreign soil then you need your head examined.

Well it ain't as if the Russians don't have the means or the motive to do this sort of thing. I do think they botched it up though. Maybe that was down to their arrogance, thinking that once again they could dish out a slow painful murder or whether the NHS got to the Skripals quick enough?

My view is I don't trust any of them. They are just different kinds of evil.
Whereas I wouldn't go too far saying they are comparable, I think you need your head examined if you want to put a whole load of credibility in the "elected government". Having an elected government since the early 1800's has never prevented us invading a large percentage of countries worldwide. Whether that has been purely for strategic, financial gain or otherwise. Sure we've got more stealthy over the years in how we go about it, but lets not pretend our government isn't completely corrupt and these twats aren't taking part in the same exact power plays that Russia does. Russia is simply a sledgehammer whereas as we are the secretive poison these days. I don't for a second believe you are that naive.
Or do you actually believe all these military standpoints we have taken over the last 200 years have been honorable and necessary fully vindicated by our elected government?
