Never a penalty....just what I was afraid of. Something never a penalty in real time....given in slo-mo. Be interesting for bad and good results of VAR to be assessed after the WC....and then you have to factor in how annoying the hold ups are.

VAR is not the problem - it is the referee's interpretation of the handball law. VAR should not be used for handballs unless the referee misses someone punching the ball off the line.
