If Belgium were England I'd be screaming at the TV...completely lack energy. Started at the wrong pace and maintained it throughout...presumably because of complacency. They have the talent and should attack at pace...get the Panamanian defence not knowing where to turn. But they aren't England....so carry on as you are, lads.
Only one that the French win there is Griezmann, and that’s close. You forget Alderweireld, De Bruyne etc.
YELLOW CARDS Belgium 1-0 Panama The fifth Panama yellow is shown by Janny Sikazwe. This time to midfielder Anibal Godoy, presumably for talking back. At the other end, Edgar Barcenas lets fly from 20 yards but it creeps just wide of Thibaut Courtois' right-hand post. They are knocking. Woah! Make that seven yellows in total - Tottenham's Jan Vertonghen sees one too. For breathing, I think.
Don't want Belgium to get too many goals....GD is the next criterion after points. Two is quite enough.
I don't care about winning the group. Most important thing is that Belgium win the other games to give us a good crack...
Completely geeky, but has anyone watched any games on the BBC VR app? I seriously recommend it - grab a google cardboard (or similar form Amazon - about £5-7) and put your iPhone or Android device in and watch some games - great experience. I watched the Germany Mexico game and it was amazing. I have a cheapo £13 headset with straps etc and the experience is amazing. An example (not mine - is here https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01J7OJLI6/?tag=not606-21). I have not tried these or vouch for them but they are an example of how cheap it is to get into watching the WC in Virtual Reality.
Can't believe that the Uruguay coach said that he didn't like VAR because Uruguay and other South American countries like to be cunning. Basically saying that he doesn't like VAR because he likes to cheat.

Yeah in South America diving is seen as an art form, like taking a free kick. It is seen as the refs fault for not spotting it rather than the players fault for attempting to deceive him.
Yoshi Day! Buzzing! Did anyone else finish his autobiography? (Am reading Howard Webb’s currently - is also very interesting).
