I heard Zidane and Bale love working together so this definitely sounds plausible

I've heard Ross is keeping his job, regardless of whatever outcome the takeover may be.

I mean personally I would've gotten rid after the play-off final, he failed by his own expectations. Then again, if we get rid now, who could we attract at this level? Rowett I guess but he's just a glorified coach, as is Paul Clement.

If Ross stays it'll confirm my fear that the new owners will write this season off, invest in January and take promotion as a bonus.

Ross and his staff aren't expensive and Donald would keep things ticking over while the Dell hit men organise the total restructuring on the club.

I'm guessing at some of this but something weird is definitely going on at the club.

I wouldn’t mind keeping him if I could see progress on the pitch. I don’t mind his demeanour etc unlike others but the performances we are dishing out make it very hard to defend him.

I actually think he has too many players who are similar in style and ability. None of the changes he makes really weaken nor strengthen the team and he can’t change our style. It also means we never get a settled team/partnerships.

Having listened to him prior to joining us I was excited as he seemed to be a young, progressive coach who could develop and would learn from his mistakes, sadly right now I feel he is guessing and hoping something sticks, worst of all he isn’t learning from his mistakes the most obvious being very little pace and or physical power throughout the team which is critical.

Just massively frustrated with it at the minute ...don’t expect to walk the league or smash opponents but I do expect us to be able to dictate/manage some games and get at teams in a positive manner

In my opinion He can’t really complain if new owners do move him on

I don't think we will sack him while Donald remains chairman & owner.

Two reasons:

1) He probably can't afford the severance package. Granted Ross is out of contract at the end of the season but I'd still imagine it's be six figures minimum and we spent the grand sum of f-all in the window and pinched on wages.

2) The new owners will get their own man in once it goes through. That would mean getting rid of Ross, appointing someone for either caretaker or very short term to just get someone else in again in a few weeks time.
I just want to see Ross show some ****ing emotion during the game. It looks like he's waiting for a bloody bus on the sidelines, get a grip JR

Controversial but I'd be willing to go with Stevie G. He's shown he's capable at Rangers and I've got a feeling he'd be a safe pair of hands with a few quid.

Every week I think this is the week when things will click into place.
There's a fine line between mediocrity and brilliance.
I keep thinking back 35 years to when Howard Kendall was alledgedly one game from the sack.
Everton were garbage.
One result and suddenly everything was flying.
I'm sure that the same will happen to Sunderland very soon.

My guess is that he’ll be gone when the takeover happens. Why would self made billionaires stick with failure at League One level.

Totally agree, thought he was a breath of fresh air but since last Xmas he has gone into his shell , needs a Reid post Reading moment to get the fans back on side
