Transfer Rumours Rumours and Potential signings

Rovers have signed Defender George Williams on a permanent deal, no mention of fee or length of contract
He has joined us from MK Dons. He is the 5th player to have left the Dons this window

4 LBs 4 CDs 2 RBs plus Williams how many defenders do we need that doesn't include Tom Davies who is out on loan, when are we going to shift some of them out, Grant can also play any where across the back

Stockley gone to Charlton, Harry Smith to Motherwell and Gnanduillet seems to be holding out for a Championship offer.

Do we have any other options we're looking at in the striker department? It's beginning to look like we'll be running out of time to sign one.

Reactions: old timer
Joe Piggott has has left Wigan contract cancelled by mutual consent, worth a contract until end of season maybe with an extension if things go well

Michael Kelly has joined Yeovil on loan for the rest of the season so we now only have three LBs

Frank Lampard sacked by Chelsea do you think we could persuade him to come and manage us then we might just have a balanced team playing to win matches instead of just hoping to get a point or a lucky win. With JCH scoring goals for fun for posh I am beginning to think my prediction of 4 - 0 defeat might be to low

What's worrying is we seem to be unable to attract players yes I know we have signed Williams but no MFs or STRs

Hearts are in the Scottish Championship, although they’re top and highly likely to be promoted, which is another kick in the teeth for us.

I sincerely hope Widdrington has a plan b.

Shows my bad knowledge of Scottish football <laugh>

As for Widdrington, is he still involved with finding/signing players? I am only asking because he has moved upstairs to the boardroom now. Is he doing both roles?

Tisdale said last night that we are trying to make signings and the board are being very supportive. Its not about funds or wages but about getting the right person. And deeper into this transfer window we go, the more UNLIKELY it becomes to get someone. His words, not mine.
