Read in The Times that he's staying with LA Galaxy for another season.

If he were to go to Spurs then Spurs would recoup most of the outlay and wages through shirt sales. He may be slightly past it but he's still rated as an iconic footballer of his generation.

It was a loan deal while the American season is on a break ala Henry to Arsenal.

I don't see Chelsea signing anyone but 'sure things' this window. Not that anyone is a sure thing, as Torres perfectly demonstrates. But I don't see them splashing the cash on another young foreign striker when they just bought Lukaku

I cant see Chelsea signing another young striker either but I did read somewhere that AVB will have alot to spend, so who knows.

Much more likely to go to Liverpool, they've been peeking at Carr's notepad again ...
