Plus with reduced subs I think there is going to be less need for major signings.

Agreed, I was thinking just that. I think for sure a CB will be arriving soon and then as we get the games under way we should have a better understanding of what the squad is like and then go into the loan market, to be fair its done wonders for us in the last two seasons!!

Surely it could just mean that Puncheon is part of the fee for Gorkss? I never believed that we would get Gorkss + money for Puncheon, but the other way round would make a lot of sense.
Waghorn would be good I reckon, he needs a new start really and seeing as Leicester will be bringing in a top dollar striker he won't fit into their plans anymore. Lad had a poor season last year but if you watch a goals compilation on youtube from the year before that when he was on loan at Leicester from Sunderland you can see why they payed £3m for him, only 20 too. But I'd prefer someone on loan from a Premiership team like Nathan Ecclestone from L'pool, had a blinder of a pre-season but will surely be left out of their 25 man squad again, worth a go? Gorkss would be ace, get Punch out alreaddddyyyyyy!

Believe it when I see it. Reasonably happy anyway, though would like another defender. Nicola paying decent money is one thing, but can't see him slinging money around unless we are in a very good or very bad position at Christmas.
