What are the rumours on Wheater that I saw on another thread? Now that would be a good signing.
He was there on loan last season but has since returned to Everton - his first-team chances are limited though
The reason we didn't sign Fontaine was because we were worried about his ankle, not only in the short-term but for the long run too - So I think that deal is pretty much dead, unless of course we find ourselves in deep sh*t at 10:50pm...
I think I would prefer Wheater, but be happy with Yobo as well. Yobo is that bid older but Wheater is a very solid centre-back in the Jaidi sort of mould.
