    Well you've only heard the ramadan malarky cos it's a mag player mate, it's definately not cos he's ****e (or even french) it's cos his imaginary friend told him not to eat.

    {I apologise to all those with imaginary friends out there, I'm sure your imaginary friends are perfectly real and not at all 2000 years out of date.}

    You're such a ****ing helmet it's unreal. Actually moronic beyond words.

    You've just asked about 'natural talent and ability'. You have no ****ing idea whether Bendtner has more 'natural talent and ability' than Sammy does. We haven't seen him play a run of senior games yet, so you can't 100% know for sure.

    And just so your tiny brain can comprehend it properly, I'm not claiming that Sammy is better. I'm just saying that I don't know yet.

    Like who?

    The fact that Tiote, arguably our best player, and Ba, a great scorer last season, have came out very poorly during the middle of ramadan when they're both muslim is either an obvious connection or a strange coincidence.

    As I've said a million times, but people seem too daft to accept this, LET'S WAIT AND SEE. If he's still **** well after ramadan is over, then I'll accept I'm wrong. Until then, you can't claim its horse ****.

    Bendtners 1 in 4 record is impressive given time on the park and standard of opposition, he has 12 in 38 internationally, and a 1 in 3 ish Champions League record.

    Add assists, and you get a great picture of a talented lad, read the thread on the Arsenal board, they certainly rate him.

    Gyan has been asked to carry the team in a role he is not suited to, with the best line of creativity in the side nullified by being played out of position.

    Best i'm reserving judgement on, but Ba looks a poor footballer, he scored a few for West Ham, in a lot of games when they were playing teams just ambling to the end of the season.

    He can finish, but his positional play and movement looks alarmingly bad.

    We're always gonna have a bit of bias, but i wouldn't swap either of our 2 for either of years in a billion years.

    Santon is an excellent buy mind, really good player, potentially.

    As I've said, he might push himself up to 1 in 3 with a long run of starts at SAFC. I still don't think that's prolific though. It's probably what Gyan is capable of at this point.

    Might bag a fair amount of goals with a Gyan and Bendtner combo though. If they bag 10-12 each that's 20-24 goals total. That'll get far more goals than just playing one of them up-front with Sess behind imo.

    I feel promise in Ba because he scored those goals despite being in a **** West Ham team which was heading down. Unlike someone like Bendtner, I feel he is moving to a better team by going from West Ham to NUFC, and he should get much better service.

    His positional play and movement ****ing sucked in the first few games I agree. But against Fulham he was quite a bit better. As I said, set up Best very nicely with some intelligent play and hit the woodwork. He could be starting to find his feet, so I'd reserve judgement on him also.

    If they got 24, or thereabouts between them, i'd be happy enough, Sess and Gardner should chip in, Larsson is good for 5 or so hopefully.

    I can see your viewpoint of him having better players around them at Arsenal, but the players didn't compliment his style.

    One of the Arsenal lads said 'our weakness is getting crosses in with any conviction, with decent delivery from Seb, Bendtner will do well, as he's superb in the air...'

    I agree with this.

    I don't expect Bendtner to get a hatful, but i think 12-15 is a realistic target, and i'd be delighted with that.

    He will see more time on the pitch, and a lot of high quality deliveries from Larsson.

    Ba needs similar service to Bendtner, but his link up play and running is not as strong, surely you can't argue that?

    Most people on the mag board seem to think your ****ed without bringing in a striker in the transfer window.

    The general consesus is that ramadan or not, Ba is ****e, Best is ****e, Ameobi, is ****e, Loverboy is ****e and sam is prob. going to be ****e.

    I thought we had happy clappers here, but your hands must really be sore (and not for the reasons all of you may think), it's cos of all the clapping you do. Think you may be in a group of 1 to think that Best is going to hit 12 this season.

    LOL, great point Vaux. You would think he would have his hands full defending his stella forward line he loves so much against his OWN fans never mind coming over here to tell us why he would be worried about signing Bender and then spitting his dummy out.

    Aye, my argument consists mainly cos they're mag players they're ****e, (normally I'd be on a wind up, but in this case their strikers are ****e) The mags see those players week in week out, and they think they're ****e. So who am I to argue?

    Don't know to be honest. I didn't watch him much at West Ham and he's been noticeably poor in the games so far. Need to see him at his best. Against Fulham mind his link-up play wasn't too bad. He obviously isn't what I'd call a pacey striker, but he's faster than the likes of Ameobi. I definitely think 'Shola Mk II' is very premature.

    I don't think SAFC and NUFC's playing styles are all too different though when we're both gelled teams, so if he needs similar service to Bendtner then he should hopefully get it.

    No. Not ****ed. Just very frustrated. Bringing in a new striker could have been the difference between a few places on the table easily. For all the money we have we SHOULD have brought in a top quality striker.

    In MY view, which may or may not represent other mags:

    Ameobi = ****e

    Lovenkrands = ****e

    Sammy = very promising play, but early days. Definitely better than his brother already imo

    Best = For some reason people think he's ****, and his play isn't particularly impressive to watch, but he DOES score goals, and scores them regularly. 8 in his last 13 apps.

    Ba = Been a bit pants so far, but he does have it in him somewhere. 7 in 12 at West Ham and great scoring records in all his other clubs. He also looked much better against Fulham, so seeing a sudden improvement is keeping me very hopeful.

    Other people are worried, but I'm not. Frustrated, yes, but not worried.

    I am. Tbh I don't know why everyone slates Best so much. Even the mags who do it. The fact is, whenever he's started, he seems to score. How he does it is irrelevant. He does score. He has 2 goals so far in only two apps, and I expect to see more if he's regularly started.

    Quick Chappaz, their is a moron with only one brain cell talking absolute ****e on your board, get over there and rip him a new arsehole. How dare he, and I quote.

    The Transfer Window Is Closed! So How Did We Do?!
    I could go on for hours about Deadline Day, and the £35million, and lots of things. But I won't. I'll keep it very straight forward and just look at NUFC's Priority's since the Window opened from July 1st and how we did at achieving them.

    Priority No.1:- One World Class/Potentially World Class Striker or 2/3 Good Strikers.

    Actions:- Demba Ba on a free transfer. That is all.

    Result:- FAILED. Rating:- 1 out of 5.

    GO GET HIM CHAPPAZ, NO MERCY

    Everyone slates him cos he's ****e, it's not that difficult mate, and if Best scores everytime he starts how many did he get last season and how many games did he play? If it's a fact he starts and he scores then the manager must be a complete plank if he didn't start every game.

    If ****e stinks and every one can smell it but you, does that mean we're all wrong? or does it mean you may be wrong? Just something I'd thought I throw out there? (not the **** obviously just the analogy)

    I just feel overall Bendtner offers a lot, he is a very good all round footballer.

    Ba, is a few goals maybe, Best does appear to be a half decent finisher, both are poor link up players, i guess you need to play wingers, and have Cabaye really covering the ground to make it work.

    I made sure I didn't touch anything when I was over there, funny though, I couldn't see Chappaz had even bothered to tell him that Sameobi is actually **** hot and the answer to their problems, must have took pity on him.

    That's just a ****ing daft thing to say though. He's scored 8 in 13, so how can he be ****e? His play might not look impressive, and he may make mistakes, but he DOES score goals.

    And yes, he went through a large period without scoring any, but that's irrelevant. Now, he does score. Simple as that. He's been doing it for months.

    And he would have been played in every game but he had quite a long injury.

    Anyway, we'll have to wait and see how they get on as the season goes by.
