One Step Beyond
I can't stand those people who hate football but still go along to games to deliberately cause trouble and ruin them for everybody else.

Bloody referees.

the issue is like players they have good days and bad days.

Sadly most refs are like woodgate and are injured and out of the game most the time then have a blinder

I've always wondered about refs, if you want to be a ref, you must have at least a general interest in football, and therefore must support a team at some level, most supporters tend to support premier league teams, so surely they're all biased one way or another, however slightly.

when you become a ref you have to be honest on who you support, who you play for, what matches you have been 2 ect.... so that will all be used to base what matches you would be allowed to ref

but yer i cant imagine any ref not being a football fan, i can imagine most of them being failures at football tho

But if you were from Manchester, for example and supported United (I know, shocking), you could never do a premier league game except for relegation 6 pointers because nearly every good game would affect them in some way.

True, maybe thats why man utd never get decisions going against them, never have in my life time. But still nearly all games are recorded and can be viewed by the FA and what not at any time so they could see all the decisions and were the ref is standing to base that decision. It would be very difficult to even attempt to be bias
