Canada giving the French a really good game.

Tier 2 teams have impressed me this world cup, granted they're still losing to the the T1 teams but considering not long ago they were losing by 50-100 pts, they've made massive improvements. Also the games are more competitive meaning they're better to watch.

Without a doubt, at least for the first half anyway. Maybe just a tad too open in their game and more I'll discipline which gets punished but makes for exciting games to watch..

This match has started at some pace....more weird decision making by England....could pay for it at the end...take the points when you can...

paid for that with the try. couple of times we have been around 10 metre line and turned it over with an isolated runner. Basics.

the entire game is being ruined by penalties line that at scrums, and hey ho as I speak aussies score from the incorrect pen.

But Marler was highlighted (by aussies lol) at turning in at the scrum. Hes got to have known that the ref would watch for it. I'm not actually sure it's deliberate rather than weak binding but still.....

The aussie went down to his knees before he lost his binding, either way the ball was just about out and away so no need for the pen, scrums have now become all about winning the technical penalty, as I say its bloody rubbish.

Oh I agree, they've tinkered with it to make it safe and its getting almost league in its appearance. I think they'd get rid of it if it didn't blur the lines even more with league.

England have never won after being this far behind at HT before <laugh>

Its the same as the year we did badly because they changed the rules at slowing down the ball at the breakdown. We knew they'd penalize it but we couldn't help ourselves...penalty after penalty...still kept doing it

The OZ are smarter, and matching you in the scrum, their one handed offload is sucking in players also, making space for the runners, as in the last try.........<ok>
