Off Topic Rugby World Cup

A real shame to be honest, because I think that could be a brilliant game with 2 teams that like running the ball. Might just not bother watching Liverpool, frustration and anger are the only things I get out of watching them anyway

 

On a different note its really frustrating as a Welshman watching these games because I really feel that if we had a few more backs fit we could've gone on to the semi-final if not win the thing. We had Halfpenny, L.Williams, J.Davies, S.Williams & Walker all injured. That's probably a stronger line up than what we actually fielded in the world cup.

 

Without a doubt mate. Youve always played at your best the most like Southern Hemi rugby.

But like us you found out that you need a rediculously strong squad for this short format WC tourney. Its Why the AB will always be favourites...they have three first 15 that can win an elite match FFS!

 

True, I suppose its the same with you, wondering "what if" with O'Connell, O'Brien & Sexton out for the game against Argentina. They played brilliantly (Argentina) but once it was 23-20 you'd imagine O'Connell & Sexton would've controlled the game a little better than Madigan and the players on the pitch did.

The frustrating is that the next world cup is another 4 years away. It'll go quickly enough and we've got stuff like the 6 Nations & 2017 Lions tour of New Zealand to come in rugby but its just frustrating knowing that the chance of redemption and trying to win it is 4 years away again. After the Warburton red card of 2011 its another frustrating thing for us really.

Congrats to the All Blacks ... Best team there by miles so deserved winners. Was a decent final, Aussies had a go at getting back in it which kept things interesting but no way they could stop the neighbours
