Not everyone by any means and the fans who travel to every away game are generally very good. But many of Norwich's fans have been an embarrassment this season. Granted we have not played very well and been rubbish at times, however the so called "supporters" have hardly helped the situation.

Many people claim "the team is playing without confidence". So what do they do? The boo them! Yeah sure that's going to help. And they are shocked their confidence is not greatly boosted by this?
Every week they seem to pick a new boo boy. This week was RM. The other week Snoddy was the worst player in the world and should be sold. Tell you what why don't we just sell everyone?
Many fans wanting us to lose each week just so the manager gets sacked is moronic. CH may not be the best manager in the world but many have not given him a chance for no apparent reason. He can do no right it seems. It is a team game and everyone should be responsible, he can't go out and play football for them. I don't think CH is perfect but I can see what he is trying to do in terms of how he wants to play but the fans will never give him the chance. I believe he is the sort of manager who needs time to improve the team and he will do that but sadly he will not be given a chance. The spoilt, I want instant results attitude of many fans will see to that.

Sadly I have no doubt that sooner or later CH will be hounded out, but be careful what you wish for. If he does leave you better be damn sure whoever replaces him is an improvement else that could see the club in even more trouble.

These complaints could be taken for fans of all clubs not just ours. If things don't work out straight away people imminently believe the manager must be sacked. Sadly we have a very short term culture with almost anything these days, most of all football.

Sort it out and support your team don't just boo them!
 
I believe the long term future of the club will be much better with a manager who knows how to build a team.

Sort your own opinions out to that which reflects reality.

But your opinion is in no way reflective of reality whatsoever. We lost by an odd goal away from home to Newcastle.

I don't get this DM. Yes it was only a 2-1 defeat and that would indicate a close game to anyone not watching it, but most of us here were watching it.
The difference between the two sides was quite obvious.
What did Newcastle have that we didn't?

A midfield that can feed the forward line
Strikers that get service
Strikers that create havoc, when they get that service
Some belief in what they are doing

All the things NCFC have been missing for some time now.

The sad thing is, it is a bi-weekly feature of watching our team play, and even at home we appear to missing these 4 crucial elements a lot of the time.

Toon could have been out of sight at half time, thankfully they were not.
 
This was not about how badly we played today. More how the fans have supported/ not supported the team and how this has effected goings on with the team

While in principle, I agree that fans should get behind the team, there does come the time when unhappy fans are going to voice their displeasure in what is happening on the pitch. That time began months ago, and is gaining momentum every other week. At what point will you have had enough? In May when we are relegated? In April when you think, oh **** - looks like we are going down, or in March when you think, oh dear - there is a chance we might go down?

Oh, come on DM, we were awful. Admit it. This wasn't the Chelsea game where we were a bit unlucky to lose. It was a debacle, like most of our away games this and last season. OK, going behind so early is bound to hit a team, I accept that, but this was not an isolated performance. It was like almost all of our away performances under Hughton. Sorry, but he really does not have a clue how to set up a team at this level.

I would never boo the team end of. I trust if it was the best thing for the club DM would make the correct decision.

It wasn't a debacle. It wasn't a great performance but Newcastle have beaten Spurs and Chelsea before us so we would we expect to be able to match them away from home?

hmm, fair comment I guess, but not everyone of is of the same opinion. Some people have limited ways, or believe they have limited options to express their dissatisfaction, that doesn't make them bad supporters though. To play devils advocate, you could make a case for them being better supporters, as they are showing their passion, just in a different way to you <ok>
 
You think there is mass booing of individuals which changes on a game to game basis.

The truth is it is very minor and is built up over a series of games.

I don't think there are many fans that want us to lose each week to get rid of Hughton. Its something people as a plus point after a defeat.

I don't think you can see how Hughton is trying to get us to play, if you could you will see that the team is just not developing to a standard consistent enough, even more so with the rigid style of play imposed. Reliability and consistency are the very least he should be getting playiong that way. I suppose he is getting that as we rarely play well.

Its not a case of things working out straight away, quite the opposite, poor performances have been abundant for virtually a full year now.

Supporting your team does not mean blindly agreeing with everything.

I agree its not just about the booing and I certainly don't agree with everything. In fact there are many things I would change. But fans getting on the backs of players, not supporting the manager etc during a game does not help anyone.

Is a year even a long enough time to build a team? As I said I feel CH is a manager who is in it for the long term and will take time to get things right. But if he does it would be more beneficial then just a quick fix/ good season or two.

Well I'd say by definition it does make them bad supporters because they are not supporting?! But I take your point. Better to show your passion through cheering your team on then bemoaning their every move. But hey just my opinion.

As I said I think much of it is a cultural thing. People expect/want instant success and if they don't get it they throw their toys out the pram. This is football in general in this country, every clubs fans are the same. Less so in other countries though.
