Haven't, and won't delete my account, but I'm bored to **** of the place atm and rarely post on there. There's quite a few genuine morons over there who believe they're being witty and controversial when all they're being is confrontational and dumb.

I'd agree with most of that tbh.
That forum, when it's good, is very good because of the numbers. Threads like Moaty & Gazza flew with a post every 15 seconds.
But there's a form of 'Internet humour' that's seriously dull and used by the various cliques and Trolls. It reminds of those people in offices who say things like 'we're all rally zany here but you'll get used to us'.
It's rarely actually witty and never original ...
.... posting gifts, in jokes and smilies are about as good as it gets tbh.

I received a PM off one particular arseclart threatening to “wire my jaw”. Told him where I was and I was quite happy for him to do it, bottled it and blocked me.

Arses probably twitching now as takeover still hasn't been denied. Sad ****ers would prefer we don't have multi billionaire owners just so could prove a point online... that's not a proper fan IMO.
Did he also say "you've no idea who I am"?
If so, it's almost certainly the same prick who issued the same threat to me (I was absolutely terrified!).
