Jarra, let me explain slowly. Your post after I said I was ignorimg you was at best an attempt to act the big man and at worst cheap point scoring.

I made it clear enough I was ignoring you as a fellow safc fan was in a bad place and hoped someone would know him off the boards.

But no that wasn't good enough and you still came back with your childish rubbish.

this is another problem, so much going on at once and posts tend to 'get lost' in the middle, i am sure if you read back you will see that jarra posted concern for the rat, i am afraid it is this exact type of situation that can get out of hand and pretty much what i have been saying about the written word being taken the wrong way... i am not trying to lay blame or take a side here, just pointing out how easily it can happen...

I rarely post after a defeat or when things are particularly negative, I always understand people are pissed off, we all are, but the anger and vitriol from some is awful and something I can’t handle because, whatever Bill Shankly said, it really is just a game and I never did football to get angry like that. Maybe I’m not a passionate enough supporter

I think the problem is partly due to the football we are watching being, if we are honest very poor. This by the way is not a Jack Ross rant. The takeover gave a glimmer of hope in what otherwise has been a fair few months of disappointment. Some posters have only been used to us being in the higher leagues, this gave hope that those days may come back. Inevitably there are rumours on/off etc and like the match thread people become almost bi-polar, argue one minute great,one minute **** etc. It's such a shame - yes a takeover is probably vital for the club, but if our performances could begin to improve then this would lighten the load.
@Smug in Boots can give us hope off field, can you help on???

Very good post mate, I agree with lots of that.

I'll happily talk about RTG on here, no problem.

The issue there is that there's around 10 people who aren't in the least bipolar ...

... they're relentlessly snide, pessimistic and argumentative.

They know who they are, we know who they are, the Mods know who they are ...

... we could all list them without even thinking.

Yet they're allowed to dominate the board because they round on people and shout them down ...

... exactly as they're doing now.
