You have every right to defend yourself. But when all said and done this and the SMB are just internet message forums. Nobody really knows anyone. Not one person on here really knows me in real life and I don’t know them. I’m sure if I met some they would be nice decent people and others wouldn’t. Discretion is the better part of valour as they say so my advice for what it’s worth is to just ignore it and move on.

Off the top of my head I'd say I know around 50 people from RTG and probably 30 from here.

So, no offence, but I'd have to totally disagree with you ... unless I've missed your point.

And I've had half a bottle of Bumbu by accident <laugh>

A quick Google search says...

English football clubs do not typically display the total number of titles won on their shirts, but Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town historically used stars on their shirts to mark significant achievements, such as their European Cup wins or multiple major trophy hauls, rather than a numerical count of all titles.

Nottingham Forest:
Has two stars on their crest to represent their consecutive wins of the European Cup in 1979 and 1980.

Ipswich Town:
Displayed three stars on their home and away kits to denote the three major trophies they had won at the time: the FA Cup, the UEFA Cup, and the old First Division.
Other examples of European traditions:

Manchester United:
Featured stars on their Champions League kits to mark their European Cup victories, but not a total count of their domestic league titles.

Celtic and Rangers:
In Scotland, Celtic wears one star for their 1967 European Cup win, while Rangers has five stars for their 50+ league titles, showing a specific but not overall count.

Personal opinion, if other clubs aren't i dont think we should

I arrange tickets, transport, accommodation for people and receive the same help in exchange.

I go to matches, home and away, without any plans and always end up on trains and Metros with people I know or know of.

I've just been talking to the Crosby family, from Nottingham arranging Forest tickets, and earlier started to arrange a meet with Dave Ashfield, Cris from the Sheikh's and people who were at the Argyll for the Sheff Utd playoff, around 120. For the West Ham and Brentford games there were people, off here, from Shields, Brackley, Cornwall, Doncaster, Hastings, Sheffield, etc.

So, no offence, but I'd have to totally disagree with you ... unless I've missed your point.

It was a generalised point rather than a specific one.

I started using chatrooms as a student in the late 90s and enjoyed cracking on with people. I even got engaged to someone in the early noughties after reading their message board posts. Online was a nicer place back then.

After trolls appeared in numbers and social media turned into a battleground I became more cautious, only stepping in people's DMs when I felt I had to and then being desperate to get away <laugh>

I agree about the need to be cautious, yet I admire anyone who consistently tries to help others because I personally would find it very difficult.

It could be a busy day on here if it stays down :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Just thought that, it'll be a long day if we lose ... there should be a 'pitchfork' smiley for that forum <laugh>

Great thread as usual @RTB, and a great read through, as usual. <applause><applause><applause>

Look at that line up man, still pinch myself when I see our squad now.

I predicted a draw, and would happy with the draw, but you know what...I think we'll win this 2-1.

Wilson and Maynda off the bench with the winner.

Ha'Way me Bonny Lads.

I won't stop using it as some of the threads in SMB section really interest me, but my opinion of the placed changed massively after Keith started following me around and then PM'd me with abuse/threats. No doubt whilst full of wine on another of his cruises that he never talks about. I reported it to Roger/Pancho, I never received an apology from Keith.

Out of interest, why do people think he's racist? I've seen it mentioned on here and on a Newcastle forum I occasionally read.

Still think it’s a decent forum, but would love to see the likes of Hank and @becs back.

The fact a footy forum can bring out the behaviour it does in some people is astounding though.
