After being a pro-Roland forum for years it has now become possible to criticise Roland without being monstered by Nigel and the gang.

Was this the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th time he was thinking of shutting down the site..? It always comes about after a period of low activity on his site, if the team loses a couple of games, or worse still if he's not getting enough attention.

He could always wheel out his much used 'olive branch' post, but be careful if in the future your opinion doesn't fit in with his, you'll soon find out that the branches have been tampered with.

Why wouldn't you be allowed on here..?

We are very different people. For a start, I never use four letter swear words, I'm not a prude, just the way I was brought up. I've also lived and worked in North Wales for a number of years.
He explained he was the only moderator and that his posters seemed to be unable to keep to the thread subject. He had seen me continually asking posters to keep to the thread and he said he couldn't supervise the forum 24 hours a day. I mentioned that I have been a moderator previously on a US Forum with five hundred active posters. He then offered me a job as a moderator on ITTV.
