I've said for a while that football is watered down now. Non contact sport these days. Shame really. Men in their 20's and 30's with school kid hairstyles ffs.
 
I do think it will eventually become almost a non con contact sport and var is only going to make things worse.
 
I remember Holland v Germany in Italia90 that was a dirty game. Plus most of the games involving the Argies. Cameroon were dirty that tournament too.

I welcome many of the changes because many very gifted footballers historically spent too much time out of the game from tackles that had no place in the game ... some even have to deal with the effects of such tackles long after their careers are over.

You're a right grumpy old ****er <laugh>

Nothing wrong with having a decent haircut as you get older. I'm in my 30's and always get a fade, so ****ing what, I also wear a cap from time to time and I've got some proper decent old school ones. I also buy trainers that are expensive, got a pair of Yeezy's the other day.... you need to stop worrying about other people mate.

I bet you have short back and sides and walk around in chinos sticking your nose up at anything that offends you in Plymouth.

Cheer up and live a little ffs!

Nothing wrong with trainers and a good hair cut. I have a short back and sides? Nah. Just think that middle aged men trying to look like teenagers is a bit sad. Teenagers laugh at them.
