Honourable mention for Keane, after all the stick he has (mostly rightly) got, should acknowledge that he did a really good job of chasing, harrying and holding the ball.

Good point on Keane. Maybe after all his injury problems he is finally regaining full fitness. Showed more pace than I reacall previously.

I was about to say that, dealing with headers in our penalty area is still a problem. First win anyway though against a team that's likely to struggle, nice first goal.
 
1 Irvine - great all round contribution and of course 2 goals (should have had the hat trick though)

2. Campbell - good finish for the second.. his endeavour is admirable and because of his chasing down created the third goal

3. Batty - for me he outshone his central midfield partner .. best game he has had so far .. encouraging signs for the future.
