Ross Barkley

totally agree <ok>
Fellaini need to step up and attack more or just go back
am really impressed by Barkley, he is like the Rooney who plays in the mid

We'll just keep the £27.5m if it's all the same, thanks.

haha, is it a pre-requisite of being an Arsenal fan, that you have to be totally clueless about the game?

Have you actually seen the lad play? He's an incredible prospect who's not even 20 yet & has all the attributes needed to become a world class midfield player.

I'm not sure if I believe you Tobes ?

You told me Felliani was good <laugh>

You think he's worth the same fee as Aguero?

Thirty five million though? Still a lot, I'd say take ten off and you're being more realistic.

I'd would be more than happy to see the club shell £30 million on Jack Wilshere though. If he weren't bloody well injured half the time.

If Everton want £35m then thats the price. Its then 'cough up or shut up' time.

RE: Aguero price...

Wasn't that three years ago? Do you think he wouldbe sold for £35m now?

Isco, Illaramendi, Mkhitaryan all went for less. It was only a Chelsea fan that bought up 35m anyway, they'd probably be stupid enough to pay it

Barkley has played 12(ish) games in his first 'proper' season and had a very average start to his international career and people are suggesting 35mil+

**** me the worlds gone bonkers.

He needs to have a consistent season (or 2) with Everton before figures like that are thrown about. Plus Utd need a proven world class midfielder to come straight in and do the business, they don't need a prospect that could become world class in 4 years (unless the figure is 15mil ish).

I dunno, what's the housing market say?<doh> By the logic I have seen used in the Suarez 40+1 fiasco the only offer made at any given time sets the market price we've been told<laugh>

So by the same logic if only United make an offer and it's 20m then that's his market value<whistle>

We've had no offers for him you helmet, so trying to turn that analogy on me doesn't work you thick ****.

Yeah but you worked so hard to convince us all that Liverpool's evaluation had no bearing on Suarez worth<laugh> And here you are saying the opposite.
The insults just make your tears sweeter, I like to make tea from them

No you dopey twat, I never said anything of the sort.

I said that his market value was set by the market & the only bid on the table was £40m, so that was where the market had his price. The fact that you didn't want to trade at that figure was down to you. The market refused to pay any more at that point in time, hence no larger offers hitting the table.

And if United offer 20m for Barkley the market is setting his price so your 35m valuation is irrelevant by your logic.

Personally I think your "one offer setting the market rate, even just at that one time the offer is made as it is the only offer" is still bollocks anyway. 1 club making an offer is not a market, it is one negotiation between two clubs. Maybe look up what market means.

keep the insults coming, sweet sweet tears<laugh> I'll be able to make a pot of tea at this rate.

You're right, things are only worth what someone is willing to pay but if Everton value him higher, he doesn't move therefore his value is higher to Everton.

I can't see Everton selling him for under £20m. Rooney was the same, he'd only played a handful of games too but went for £30m almost ten years ago.
