Think we all knew it'd be a tough job but I'm surprised how quickly his stock fell. Seemed to lose all respect in the first few weeks with some weird stuff. Kicking off at Arsenal for encroaching into their half in the warm-up was bizarre, teams do that all the time. Guess he was trying to show he wasn't going to be weak but it just looked strange. The "ageing men" line was unfortunate in that it was an old quote that emerged but still, what a daft thing to say in an attempt to seem profound, I had him down as more intelligent than that. And the huddle thing was maybe weirdest of all. Respecting the ball ffs. He invited a lot of pressure. All very strange how easily it seemed to get to him.
