It used to be reserved for sentences such as "I like strawberries and cream" and "She looks like Brigitte Bardot". But now it seems to be required 4 or 5 times in a sentence. I haven't worked out what it is achieving but after the 3rd one in a sentence I've had enough. The TV program Made in Chelsea must be close to holding the record for the most use of the word "like".

no! I have to challenge you there (I get a feeling were not agreeing on a lot haha!), him (and his show in general) are much more entertaining than most of the football shows on television cause they don't take themselves too seriously and are generally a laugh to watch
