The word "like" It used to be reserved for sentences such as "I like strawberries and cream" and "She looks like Brigitte Bardot". But now it seems to be required 4 or 5 times in a sentence. I haven't worked out what it is achieving but after the 3rd one in a sentence I've had enough. The TV program Made in Chelsea must be close to holding the record for the most use of the word "like".
Traffic wardens that could be a good shout mate a couple of months ago met up with my sister for lunch both forgot about parking in a 1 hour free spot got back 15 mins late to find we both had a ticket
totally agree there! no! I have to challenge you there (I get a feeling were not agreeing on a lot haha!), him (and his show in general) are much more entertaining than most of the football shows on television cause they don't take themselves too seriously and are generally a laugh to watch
