They're not offering thoughts to Ronaldo at all mate, you can do that by taking a moment in your own thoughts or prayers. Everyone knows there's absolutely no chance of him 'accepting' anyone's offer.

What people are doing is showing other people how much they care. It's become a part of social media that just keeps growing. They're perfectly entitled to do that as I'm entitled to disagree and find it strange.

What next, a thread offering thoughts to a Chelsea player because his gran's pegged it?

Then don’t post on this thread then. Absolutely no point arguing about this. My opinion is that this deserves some respect. I posted this as such and it’s been made into something which it blatantly isn’t. Closing it now as it’s pointless and it’s getting me wound up. I remember posts on 606 about Jody Craddock. None of the comments from here appeared. Makes me wonder if they would have had this been a SAFC player who lost their child. Closing the thread now. I’ve posted this to show my respects. Just thought it was worth doing. You obviously vehemently disagree as you’re entitled to.
