This little guy has been with us since he was 16, and boy does he look like he's developing. Yes, I know his goal today was a fluke, but he deserved it. He was great. Pacey, skillful, canny touch and decent vision.

It's exciting to have a talent that looks like he can make it at top level for once.

He looked the part today. Some classy touches and a willingness to take players on and an ability to beat them.

I have a feeling we could see a few of the development squad finding their place in the squad this season and having a role to play.

I agree but shake were playing a turd side not getting carried away

Would be a mistake for me. He could play in the Premier League because he's got the pace and ability to beat a player IMO. I think Armstrong, Street, Satka could benefit from a loan deal but Aarons I would keep.

I agree. Lets get him out there and see what he can do. We have to take a few more risks with the young players at the club if we are to see the benefits.

I wouldn't loan out Aarons. I'd use him here. Pards seems keen and some first team football will accelerate his development. He will then leave <laugh>

Streete, Armstrong need a loan. Given our lack of cover on the right I'd keep Satka too or give him a short loan at most. May as well push him forward. Good to see Pardew giving the young lads a chance. He has to ignore the fanboy supporters though who will undoubtedly get carried away with young Aarons. Ignore the pressure and protect him. Do what Liverpool did with Sterling, give him a spell and then remove him for a few months. We need to protect the lad and allow him to develop. There is plenty of time.

He appears to being given a chance throughout pre season. That's all we have to judge at present. I realise this does not really fit with your anti Pardew agenda but its best to stick with reality.
