Another one like Greavsie knew how to find the back of the net, they're all getting to 'a certain age' and my football history is slowly disappearing RIP Roger.
Him turning away in 1966 was what convinced me that Hurst's goal went in. Hunt's natural instinct would have been to put the ball in. RIP Rog!

This! Mate....it's our time of life,..we're losing those around us who contributed to who we are.

RIP Roger. It is bloody sad to see this generation slowly passing away.
I try to make sure my lads go and find out a bit about these fellas so hopefully they dont disappear from the memory of younger fans. They couldnt believe Greavsie's record and I think they may be amazed at Hunt's as well.

Knew where the back of the net was....seemed such a good guy. Didn't have his head up his ass like the modern day footballer has.....RIP lad.....god bless.
