One of my mates was on his programme when was doing the baccy runs to France. Was signing on at the time as well, Cook shoved a microphone in his face as he was loading tabs and booze into the back of his transit van. Jobcentre people mustn't have watched it as nowt happened with them.

Back in 1993/1994 he did an exposé on illegal birds of prey trafficking. Mrs K and me were watching it and up pops an uncle of mine who I’d served with in the army playing a big part in his doco. Turns out he was part of RC’s team…….apparently.
RIP....wasn't frightened to get stuck in....doubt he'd get backed by the BBC to do programmes these days.
Amazed he was still around, thought he was older, good broadcaster back in the day. RIP.

Was never more popular in the club for those two weeks when I came back armed to the teeth with cheap baccy
