Ive got us at about 80 points maximum. Probably a little less but somewhere around that mark. You go ahead and show me any time I have said anything other that 2nd at best. Or pipe down and concentrate on yiur mid-table selves
The 4th place in the last 8 seasons: 2006/7: Arsenal - 68 2007/8: Liverpool - 76 2008/9: Arsenal - 72 2009/10: Spurs - 70 10/11: Arsenal 69 11/12: Spurs - 69 12/13: Arsenal - 73 13/14: Arsenal - 79 It is clear that last season was an outlier and 79 was a high. The average is more around 71 points. This season may see a very low number of points needed for 4th place -67/68. My prediction is 72 points.

it was a very big high... however like i said above 4th and 5th are related. If like last year or indeed the year ebfore theres a race (spurs 72 points, everton 73 points both 5th) then it pushes on. the interesting this is on all those prior years its whats the total for 5th as well. sometimes its 6 7 points that makes ending of season an anit climax for 4th placed team or now. This year really.... so far southampton, westham, utd, arsenal, spurs are fighting for 4th and we are 7 points off.... I've said my peice on who will finished where already based o nthat historical view of other clubs and things that occured. I think spurs have a big input hiere now. With elague cup, fa cup are europa like us if they can maintain a chase they will push arsenal on... if they do not then maybe you will be right and 4th could be 67/68... who knows... if we did again we'd be making money on it.
