Advocaat, Ancelotti, Bigeth Sameth, Rafa the waiter... all gone already, Rodgers would too if they was looking to change it up; get in the game early son!!

He's not meeting the owners till June. <ok>

That's irrelevant imo, if they were shooting him out of the canon in his clown costume he wouldn't even get a meeting

Why would they bother with paying for his Lear jet and hotel suite just to sack him when they're so concerned about monies innit??

They did just that when they sacked Dalglish

On reflection, now that the dust has settled, I think sacking Rodgers would be the wrong call.

To many variables effect the scenario.

-Sure Rodgers chopped and changed tactics, but also struggled with injuries.
-Sure Rodgers made some poor signings, but we also know at least one player was signed with out his blessing. Balotelli.
-Rodgers has breached the importance of playing style. All signings must fit his vision. Last season we had average players in our squad but were successful because they fitted our style and complimented the handful of stars we had. By signing Balotelli, who does not fit our style, Rodgers was seriously betrayed.
-Following Suarez exit a major injury to Sturridge was the last thing Rodgers needed. Not only did we loose another top striker, but Rodgers was also left stuck with this striker (Balotelli) who did not fit our system.
-Some of our signings had slow starts (Can, Markovic). This could have been down to being in a new country, a new language, new team mates, new climate, new League, but they have shown some serious potential once given given some time.
-When Rodgers brought in the 3421 system he brought some thing very good out of our squad for 13 matches. Unfortunately 1 or 2 injuries spoilt the parade, but Rodgers made a great tactical call.
-Our transfer stratagy has failed, but that was not Rodgers fault. With a new transfer strategy Rodgers could strive once again.

My biggest amount of blame for this season goes to our transfer strategy.

Brendan could.

Lose his phone, no contact no sacking
Pull a Sickie on the date he's due to go
Lose his passport on purpose
Change his name by deed poll to Carlo Ancellotti and hope FSG don't notice the extra l
Marry his tranny friend in Bangkok on the day of the meeting

Or he could try and win a few matches, and develop the players at his disposal? ... :)

He also said we would sign Robben and that Sterling would sign his contract.
I'm glad he will be wrong on this one though.

I'm not going to lower myself with the explanation about Robben. I've done that too many times. With respect to Sterling, he said that quite a long time ago. Obviously things change, particularly with avaricious agents (and players) involved. I haven't actually spoken to him about Sterling since all this really kicked off, but I will when I get the chance.
