cake goes hard and biscuit goes soft when they go stale
2 words.QPR bid £10m for Borini in the summer. So I don't think Poyet was the only one who saw something in Borini.
That's correcti read something about that somewhere, ie one goes hard when it goes off, and one goes soft, ie proving its not a biscuit.

Just be grateful we lost Bony mid season, as we would have easily finished above you................![]()

Just saying you could have had us finish above you if Bony hadn't gone to Citeh? Mind that wouldn't have been difficult with just 6 points between both teams!!..............![]()
Truth be told tho, you lot are not far off Spurs Liverpool ect. The difference being you had time to spend the proceeds on replacements and £117m in total. If Bony hadn't gone to city and Suarez not gone to Barcelona what do you think the points difference would have been ....![]()

Bony left on 14th of January, 2015. The table at 11th of January had Liverpool 2 points ahead of Swansea.
Us finishing above you was business as usual, I'd say.

Given the fact that they've spent less than **** all net in the last 4 years compared to your couple of hundred million, you must be chuffed with that result likeBony left on 14th of January, 2015. The table at 11th of January had Liverpool 2 points ahead of Swansea.

Not a bad shout.
The thing is I can see him being okay somewhere.
Just not here!

Agreed!
He needs a team absolutely full of quality that can afford to carry him for the most part with him banging in the odd really important, banging goal.

Somebody need to politely say he doesn't have a future here and move him on.
I mean, come on.
Your window of opportunity to get some decent dosh back on Borini died with Poyet mate.
You'll be lucky to find a taker for any sort of cash I reckon.
As for Bellendtelli, someone will be daft enough to take him and think they can get a tune out of him, but not sure what kind of fee, maybe £10m?

.....and I was merely presenting the facts that should make you embarrassed to be gloating about finishing within a street of them, let alone a few measly pointsI was merely presenting facts that clearly undermine his whole argument.
What we've spent and what they've spent doesn't come into it. Its a black and white matter. Swansea weren't above us in the full season or half season that they had Bony so it would take a ****ing huge leap of faith to suggest that they would've finished above us in the league if he had stayed.
