Advocaat quit a losing team, to me that sucks as a person,

At his age, he really didn't want to be there at the end of last season so it took a lot of begging etc from Sunderland to get him to stay on for this season.
Fact is, when you know your time is up, why stay ...................... he had already made his mind up.

He bombed at Reading and would have a seriously hard job doing anything with some of our players. Then again, he insists on a passing game from the back to the front of the team. Can't see any change as yet..

No doubt Klippety Klopp will be already tapped up and ready to go at Anfield...

How do you tap up an unemployed coach? Do you go behind his wife's back? :emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0142-happy

Have people actually suggested Rodgers might come to QPR? It's too early for nonsense.
Not that I'm aware of but Ramsey can join his mate Sherwood, at Villa Park.
I certainly don't rate Sherwood any better than Ramsey and neither are better than McLaren, who in turn is not much better than them.
I had thought McLaren would be a good fit with us but time has proven otherwise, not to mention that I'm no better in my predictions.

Does that mean you think they're all ****e!?

it's a mad world when you can give someone a large amount of millions to spend, and then sack them when they haven't been given time to put that side together. Why not sack at the end of a season when and keep your millions for your next manager? Still what do I know, I only put my dosh into the club through the turnstyles

Actually, while I agree with the general notion that you should give a manager time, Rodgers was in his 4th year. He inherited a side put together by previous managers and got them firing in the second one though I suspect that was more down to the influence of Suarez than anything Rodgers did. Suarez left and Rodgers broke the bank two years running making some pretty poor signings the worst of which was Balotelli and then persevering with him all season. This season the owners opened the cheque book for him again and they have been outplayed by several teams this season. He can't really complain. He had the time to put together a decent side and failed. Miserably.

Agree. Not sure Ings is all that, to be honest. A good champs player, yes, but not what Liverpool need.

It's well and truly died a death on this forum the last few days.

Anyway thought Id try and do my bit to entice some members back to their keyboards/tablets/smartphones or homing pigeons if your Kiwi.

Rogers latest, he is still very much fired from Liverpool as it stands so looks like it's a keeper on that front<laugh>

Sorry about that, I bumped this thread to post a link or two about Tim Sherwood having two games left to save his bacon. Apparently Brendan is already being lined up!

Btw this story is doing the rounds on a few sources, not just the Mirror, not that any of you likely give a toss anyway:afro:
