Whoever comes in I hope they have the bollocks to tell FSG to shove 'the committee" where the sun don't shine (Manchester)....would love if to be Klopp just to see UIR completely implode and start telling us how he never really rated him <laugh>

Good luck to BR, hope he finds another club and goes on to good things <ok> Whether he had much to do with it or not, the season before last was one of the best I've witnessed in 30 years at Anfield.

I couldn't pick between the 2. both have their perks.

Klopp has developed a "less wealthy teams" and taken them to the top more recently than Ancelotti has. I think Ancelotti has moved from mone club to money club in the last 6-8 years or so from Chelsea to PSG to Madrid so people might be thinking he's a Mourinho, only doing it with money... where as Dortmund and us are such similar positions. Both big clubs but underachieved and it was romantic watching him take Dortmund, bring through youth and play attractive football spending not too much and get the top.

Hopefully he can get the best out of Can & Firmino having seem then in Germany last few years as well.

True.

I just hope we don't sniff around the bottom of the league like Dortmund were for a while under him.

Its not all rosey under him.

Worst result (6-1 to Stoke)
1st Liverpool manager not to win a trophy is 3 seasons
Worst start to a season
Most defeats in a row
£300m+ wasted
Abysmal record away to big teams

There are a lot more, I will have to find the list I saw online some time ago. But with what he achieved at Liverpool, I thought he would never get sacked as there was nothing left for him to fail at.

Worst record in Europe since Poland vs Germany in 1939

Its all well and good saying the new manager will do this and do that but at the end of the day if the committee is buying duds then he won't be able to do much with the team.

I think we're in a better position now than Dortmund were when he joined.... but despite the "**** season" he still left Dortmund in a similar position to where we are now... Europa League with some talented players in it (Ruess, Kagawa, Sahin, Hummels, Subotic)

I think FSG are still learning about football and a new manager, if it is a top name will have a lot more say.

Yeah, true.

I'll get behind whoever it is (provided its not Gary Megson) but I'm not 100% sold on Klopp.

I actually feel a little guilty that I am so happy about our manager getting sacked. Klopp would be my first choice closely followed by Ancellotti. Miles behind but 3rd choice would probably be De Boer. I would be gutted if we again took a punt on another nobody.
