    Ouch!
Think I prefer to be Sunderland manager over Newcastle. At least the owner at Sunderland isn't a massive dickhead.

Well at least that will put a fair distance between him and his girlfriends ex. He apparently wields a mean baseball bat.

Of course this also means Gerrard will have to find a new tenant.

Am I the only one who would prefer Abcelotti?

I would prefer out an out experience.

Would help attract players too and has premier league experience.

Tony Barrett - Klopp and Ancelotti are front runners.

It really is win win with either Klopp or Don Carlo, can't go wrong (hopefully) with either!

  10. Same, I looked when we were linked a couple of weeks ago and I was surprised Klopp was that old AND the Ancelotti was that young.

    Still a sizeable gap mind

Ancelotti would probably bring quicker success but I could see it going off the boil. Klopp would be a more long term choice. But both are big enough names to help us keep our good players and lure new ones

Klopp's more exciting and probably more of a figure the fans can get behind and believe in.
Ancelotti's definitely more experienced and more reliable. He's someone who's a genuine top name and the players would trust as well as someone top talent would come to play for even if we're in 5/6th spot.

    I couldn't say who I preferred...

  13. I'd prefer Klopp for his no nonsense take no prisoners approach. We massively lack steal and he's the man to install it

I never like to see a manager sacked, but since Luis left I just havent been excited by us. Im now excited about a real quality manager coming in, making us work well as a team and helping us prosper in what is currently a weak division. All the best Brendan, I look forward to many more of your post match speeches, but I will enjoy them all the more as they will not be about us.

I couldn't pick between the 2. both have their perks.

Klopp has developed a "less wealthy teams" and taken them to the top more recently than Ancelotti has. I think Ancelotti has moved from mone club to money club in the last 6-8 years or so from Chelsea to PSG to Madrid so people might be thinking he's a Mourinho, only doing it with money... where as Dortmund and us are such similar positions. Both big clubs but underachieved and it was romantic watching him take Dortmund, bring through youth and play attractive football spending not too much and get the top.

Hopefully he can get the best out of Can & Firmino having seem then in Germany last few years as well.

It's going to be a shock if it's not Klopp or Ancelotti then. Big disappointment if not a top manager. Prefer Ancelotti.

Yup, I'd have guessed Klopp was about 40ish while Carlo was 60ish.

Rodgers has had the luck with the money and wasted it, so who will work best with limited funds
