Werner met with Ancelotti in New York last week, and we have been long admirers of Klopp.

Will be very disappointed if it's anyone other than these two.

We've been away to Stoke,Arsenal,Man.u and Everton so far this season aswell...........I would have liked him to be given a while longer but hey ho :emoticon-0126-nerd:

Yeah and I mean look at Chelsea <laugh>

Giving him all that money in the summer and sacking him after 8 games was ****ing ******ed unless they were "not Rodgers signings" this time

I think you must be the only one who is taken by surprise. Apart from the speed with which it has happened after today's game, I think even those of us who've been more patient with him were resigned to the inevitability given our poor start.

Worst result (6-1 to Stoke)
1st Liverpool manager not to win a trophy is 3 seasons
Worst start to a season
Most defeats in a row
£300m+ wasted
Abysmal record away to big teams

There are a lot more, I will have to find the list I saw online some time ago. But with what he achieved at Liverpool, I thought he would never get sacked as there was nothing left for him to fail at.

Clearly waited for the international break as not to interfere with upcoming games. Now with a couple of weeks of no football, makes sense to make the change.

I honestly wouldn't be able to decide if we had the choice between Klopp and Ancelotti to be honest... I think Carlo is the better manager, and it would piss the Chelsea fans off.... but Klopp is the new young up and coming manager that has already done it and has that infection attitude that fans can't not like!

Carlo reminds me a lot like Rafa

Carra was like "ok he touched me not into it but ok I'll go along" but you can see exacty the point where carra thought OK you have your hand there too long <laugh>

Ancelotti named as favourite on Talksport, elsewhere it is Klopp. I would prefer Klopp as he is younger and has not moved around the big European teams where there has already been good squads. Would Ancelotti build a team over the next three years?

It's just been pointed out on SSN that his win rate in the PL is 2nd only to Rafa's.
That surprised me, tbh.

18 games against Everton & the top 4.... 1 win.

Only eight years bergen the two. Klopp is 48 to Ancelotti's 56

Oh well, have to avoid talk sport and radio 5 tonight às it is just going to be constant speculation about his replacement.

Not to discredit him but it's largely inflated by one brilliant season. Combined with limited European football to deal unlike Houllier/Rafa.

Not hard... who has his competition been? Roy, Kenny's 1 1/2 seasons, Houllier, Evans, Souness?
